Como in the Middle Ages
Como: Sant’Abbondio, Porta Torre, San Fedele and Piazza del Duomo.

The itinerary winds through those religious and civil monuments that bring back to our minds the image and the history of the town of Como during the Middle Ages. Starting from Sant’Abbondio, part of an ancient monastic complex and nowadays considered one of the most interesting Romanesque buildings in Lombardy, you will reach Porta Torre and from there Piazza San Fedele and the homonymous church. The itinerary will end in Piazza del Duomo where you will see the Broletto and the civic tower. In the end you will visit the Cathedral of Como with particular attention to those works that were part of the former church, Santa Maria Maggiore.
