Pian di Spagna and Lake Mezzola

You start from Sorico taking the bicycle path to Ponte del Passo. You will coast the river Mera with a stop at the beach to enjoy the beautiful panorama of the northern side of the Lake of Como. You resume pedalling and after crossing the Boschetto, you reach the Fortino d’Adda, a fortification of the XVII century now used as a stable. You proceed entering the heart of Pian di Spagna passing through Stallone Venini and crossing Canale Borgofrancone.

After having crossed the bridge on the Adda, you retake the dirt road along the river up to the Colombara entering the province of Sondrio. You take the bicycle path along the road. You may stop at the bridge Ponte del Passo to see the same landscapes that Leonardo Da Vinci saw 500 years ago, and then you can visit the farm “La Grangia”, where you can taste typical products and see the animals of the farm.
